Playing For The Dance
Lectures – Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, London, UK
Extended lectures for the students of the music faculty.
An exploration of various aspects of accompaniment and performance with the dance: the work of the musician for choreographies and within the dance class, explained and rehearsed. Theory, practical work and tasks for the students.

Workshops – Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana, Lugano, CH
Series of workshops for the Conservatoire.
General introduction, analysis of dance performance and dance classes, task assignment and group work.
Focusing on an array of dance interaction scenarios, students are encouraged to provide their own music solutions. This event is an exciting opportunity for an exchange between two conservatoires: London’s Trinity Laban and Lugano’s CSI.

A series of quite dynamic classes, continuing the work of the previous event: MixedMeetings. Teachers who took part in the previous workshops were leading the group and interacting with the musician. The focus was on flow and energy.
